Introduction
Besides stadiums and coal storage, what are the other applications of inflatable air membrane structures? Due to its unconstrained spatial characteristics, the application scenarios can be considered very broad.
Today I'd like to introduce the Erdaojingzi Cultural Heritage Museum in Chifeng City, which is the first cultural heritage museum in China to be built with inflatable air membrane structure.
Because of the upward force, and light weight of the building itself, which is very friendly to the ground geology. In addition, the large internal span of the air dome, without beams and columns, it can give 100% space to the protected site, without causing the slightest damage to the site. At the same time, the short construction period of the air membrane structure makes it particularly good at site protection.
