Introduction
The whole arena is designed in oval shape, without any support structure, only relying on air pressure, which is a new high-tech building that can be built in the shortest time and saves the most construction materials and operation energy, and is an air-bearing membrane structure. It has a construction area of 6,000 square metres and can accommodate 3,100 spectators. It adopts high-quality architectural fibre membrane as the ‘shell’ of the building.
In accordance with the construction concept of a multi-purpose hall, this gymnasium is a multi-functional and comprehensive gymnasium integrating competitive sports training and competition, filling the blank of Dengfeng's construction of public indoor sports venues. The completion of the air supported structure will not only become the venue for competition events, but also become a good place for public fitness.
