Introduction
Inflatable air membrane structure is an innovative form of construction, with significant energy saving and environmental protection advantages, constant temperature and humidity in all seasons, which fits the concept of low-carbon environmental protection, sports and health.
While traditional stadiums use bricks, tiles, concrete, wood and other building materials supported by steel beams and columns. Inflatable membrane basketball domes use high-strength flexible film materials, mainly PVF and PVDF. No lighting is required during the sunny daytime, which not only saves electricity, but also avoids discomfort caused by harsh lighting during exercise. Through the continuous supply of fresh air, the air membrane sports dome can achieve constant temperature and humidity, creating a suitable sports environment throughout the year.
This project locates in Wenzhou, Zhejiang. The local goverment reformed the environment through the mode of 'air membrane cabin + new business' and introduced a professional operation team, which has transformed the original messy rubbish recycling station into Zeya's version of the 'Little Dome'. The interior dome has a large span of 2000 square metres, including tennis courts, basketball courts and badminton courts. Recently, Zeya Town's first 'Territorial Basketball Tournament' was held here, attracting more than 120 basketball enthusiasts from the district to participate, and it has become a vibrant social and leisure space.
