These two air-supported structures are located within a historic street attraction, consisting of an air-supported dome theater and an air-supported trendy play hall. Unlike the conventional rectangular design of traditional theaters, this air-supported dome theater features a spherical structure with a diameter of 30 meters. Its outer membrane offers both light-blocking and thermal insulation properties. During the day, it resembles a "crystal ball" embedded in the historic street, complementing the surrounding historic-style architectures. At night, it transforms into a shimmering "starlit dome" with dynamic lighting effects, becoming a new landmark for nighttime tourism in the historic street. The theater was constructed in just two months, not requiring complex foundation work, and seamlessly adapts to the existing layout of the historic street, avoiding significant alterations that could impact its historical character.
The air dome for trendy play hall utilizes an air-pressure-supported structure to achieve a 150-meter span without traditional beams or columns, providing a vast column-free interior space. The indoor layout is flexible, allowing for theflexibly partitioned of functional zones such as sports challenge areas, ninja zones, and trampoline areas. It reduces energy consumption by 60% compared to conventional buildings. Additionally, the membrane materials are recyclable, minimizing environmental impact and aligning with the principles of green and sustainable development.
