Introduction
The Dead Sea Expo Dome is located in Ein Bokek Beach, the Dead Sea tourist resort in Israel, with a total area of 4,998 square metres. The dome adopts an original composite membrane design, with a double-layer + thermal insulation and steel cable design of the outer air film and a single-layer projection air film inside, and the dome interior can be used for laser show projection performances, which creates an immersive event space for the visitors. The interior of the dome allows for laser show projection performances, creating an immersive event space for visitors to organise cultural events, conferences and music festivals.
During the construction process, the light weight of the membrane, at only 2kg per square metre, means that the
foundations do not need to be too complex, and the small amount of work required and the short duration of the project make it ideal for soft foundations around the Dead Sea. At the same time, the air membrane construction is environmentally friendly and causes less damage to the ground, thus maximising the protection of the ecological environment of the Dead Sea waters.
